When the sun rises, we always go barefoot down the beach until we get hungry (the beach is seven miles long). Then we have breakfast somewhere or just a cup of coffee. After walking home again, it's time for a dip in the sea and then one in the pool. Strangely enough, there are always some seashells that we just have to take with us from the beach...
Building laws allow no more than three storeys for new houses, one level for parking and two levels of living space. No towering high rises block the lovely view.
A free trolley runs up and down the island, taking you to shops and restaurants. Everything is also within walking distance. The apartment is not subject to noise from nightlife or traffic.
Total relaxation is guaranteed, but if you want to go boating, fishing, jet skiing or para-sailing, there are facilities for these sports on the island as well.
It wouldn´t be the U.S. of A. if you couldn´t "shop 'til you drop". Prime Outlet, Ellenton is situated 30 minutes drive from the condo. It is the biggest factory outlet in West Florida, and has premium brands like Polo Ralph Lauren, Nike, GAP, Calvin Klein, DKNY, Samsonite etc. There are plenty of shops closer by as well.
Anna Maria Island is a two-hour drive from Orlando. It's a perfect place to slow down after a hectic time at the capital of amusement parks.
Busch Gardens, Tampa, is a closer theme park.
The closest international airport is Tampa (one hour by car). Sarasota also has an airport (thirty minutes). Orlando Airport is a little over 2 hours drive.
